Creative Hands at Temple Emanu-El

Posted

With Rhode Island’s bumper crop of talented artists and craftspeople, it is only fitting that Temple Emanu-El’s Creative Hands Art Sale is held each fall midway between Sukkot and Thanksgiving, the holidays that celebrate the harvest. This year’s sale is Sunday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Now in its fourth year, the event features a mixture of returning artists and new vendors displaying and selling a variety of unique items. Creative Hands’ artists and craftspeople offer items not available elsewhere in a variety of media. These include painting, photography, jewelry, furniture, glass, wood, paper, and textiles, among others. While most of the items for sale appeal to all audiences, beautiful works of Judaica are available as well. Items span a wide range of prices and a silent auction will be conducted throughout the day.

Previous Creative Hands Art Sales have been very successful, earning praise from buyers and vendors alike, and this year’s sale is sure to be the best yet.  Whether you are looking for something beautiful, whimsical, practical, or just a bit different for yourself or for a gift, you won’t want to miss Creative Hands!

Admission and parking are free, and the venue is handicapped-accessible. For more information, visit teprov.org/creativehands, email creativehands@teprov.org, or call Temple Emanu-El at 401-331-1616.
