Ferilyn D. Kaplan, 72

WEST WARWICK, R.I. – Ferilyn D. Kaplan died Aug. 6 at Briarcliffe Manor. She was the beloved wife of Robert S. Kaplan for 50 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Bernard and Anita (Zeldes) Berman, she had lived in West Warwick for 17 years, previously living in Cranston.

She worked at local retail establishments and in customer service at A&H Manufacturing. Ferilyn was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.  She was an active member of the River Farms community, playing mahjong and planning social activities. 

She was the devoted mother of Stacey Isaacs and her husband, Daniel, of Monroe Township, New Jersey, and Jody Kaplan Ro of New York, New York. She was the dear sister of Linda Ochsman of Chevy Chase, Maryland, and Barbara Kempner of Delray Beach, Florida. She was the loving grandmother of Emma, Abby, Benjamin and Amanda.
