Rhode Island’s unique role as colonial America’s “lively experiment” in religious liberty comes to life at four of Newport’s historic houses of worship. Experience four faiths at four beautiful buildings and learn how they symbolize Newport’s commitment to freedom of religion and religious diversity. The tour begins at 10:00 am at Touro Synagogue and then proceeds to the United Baptist Church, Newport Congregational Church, and ends at Channing Memorial Church. See 4faiths.org for more info.
