DELRAY BEACH, FLA. – Helene E. Silver died peacefully in Boca Raton, Florida, on Thanksgiving day (Nov. 28, 2019) with all her family gathered. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Philip Silver, with whom she spent 66 wonderful years.

Born in New York City, she and Phil spent most of their years together in Rhode Island before moving full time to Florida. She was a graduate of New York University and taught elementary school children for over 30 years in the Warwick Public School system.

She is survived by her children: Richard Silver and his wife, Liz, Laura Lang and her husband, Steve, and Wendy Buckler and her husband, Steven, by her grandchildren: Jeffrey Buckler and his wife, Natasha, Rebecca Buckler, Max Silver and his wife, Marissa, and Alex Miller and her husband, Seth, and her great-grandsons Sammy and Ethan Buckler. She and Phil traveled the world together and enjoyed a wonderful retirement life in Florida ... always closely connected to family.
