SEEKONK, MASS. – Mary Elizabeth Suher, of Seekonk, passed peacefully on March 22. She was born in Sauquoit, New York, to the late Alfred and Amelia (Murray) Williams.

She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Utica, New York, and received a bachelor’s degree at Boston College. She had a career as a pediatric nurse practitioner prior to being a stay-at-home mom.

Mary is survived by her husband of 47 years, Steven Suher; her children, Nathan Suher and his wife, Lori, of Seekonk, David Suher of Attleboro, Massachusetts, and Amelia Suher of Pawtucket; and her loving grandchildren, Chloe and Scarlett Suher.

Mary’s life was full of things she loved such as reading, cooking, tending to her garden, journaling, attending concerts and live theater and especially caring for her many pets.  Mary was a three-time cancer survivor. She never gave up hope during her treatments and recovery. Her perseverance was an admirable trait throughout her entire life. She was strong and dedicated to her family as it grew.
