BARRINGTON, R.I. – Solomon Newman of Barrington passed away March 9. He was born in New York to the late Samuel and Yetta (Palmer) Newman. Sol was preceded in passing by his wife, Ceceil; son, Samuel Newman; and siblings, Irving, Meyer and Herbert Newman.
Solomon was a sheet metal worker for Local 28.
Solomon is survived by his children, Deborah Greenspan and her husband, Neil, of Barrington. Ira Newman and his wife, Melanie, of Howell, New Jersey, and Wendy Newman of Manalapan, New Jersey; grandchildren, Aaron, Julia, Benjamin, Falynn, Ashlee, Zachary and Brooke.
