LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – Steven Joseph Levy, aka Steve Bean, passed away at home on Jan. 21, in Los Angeles after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 27, 1960, in Lynn, Massachusetts.
Steve is survived by his wife, Caroline Carrigan; his son, Jacob Randall Levy; parents, Irwin and Dorothy Levy; sisters, Lauren Levy Brodie and her husband Todd and Jill Levy Sorota; nieces and nephews, Michael Miller, Allison Miller, Lindsey Sorota and Andrew Sorota; and great-niece, Amelia Wilcox. He also leaves behind two aunts, three uncles and many beloved cousins.
Steve attended Hillel Academy in Swampscott, Massachusetts, the Providence Hebrew Day School and graduated from Classical High School in Providence, class of 1978. He attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Steve was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He was an actor, comedian and writer. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild AFTRA and the Writers Guild.
