Temple Emanu-El: Experiencing Redemption through Memory-Making, Music, and Maggid (Story-Telling), Session 3: "How We Tell Our Story" with Rabbi Rachel Zerin

Posted

With all the physical preparations for Passover, it's often easy to overlook the mental and spiritual preparations that enable the holiday to truly be z'man heiruteinu, the time of experiencing our redemption. Join Rabbi Zerin for "How We Tell Our Story," as we prepare ourselves for Passover.

We may be familiar with the way the modern Haggadah tells the story of Passover, but how did the rabbis of the Talmud envision telling the story on Passover night? What role should questions play in the Seder, and how might these approaches to story-telling enhance your seder today?

This is the third of a three-part series. You are welcome to come only to this session, or to join us on March 17 for "Making New Memories" with Rabbi Michael Fel and/or on March 24 for "Music of the Seder" with Cantor Brian Mayer.
