Abraham “Bibb” Levine, 95

CRANSTON – Abraham Levine died June 17.  He was the husband of Rosalind (Grosser) Levine.  They were married for 65 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Morris and Minnie (Tolchinsky) Levine. He is survived by his daughter, Susan and her husband Steven Robinson of Sharon, Mass.,  and his son Joel Levine of East Providence; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Julia, Lisa and Emily and great-grandchild Atticus. He was the brother of the late Nellie Moseff and Hyman, Matthew and Samuel Levine.

He was the founder and former owner of Hudson Furs.

A five-year World War II Navy veteran serving in the Pacific, he was a member of Touro Fraternal Association, Jewish War Veterans Post #23, American Legion and the Cranston Senior Guild.
