Amudim Awards Dinner

Rabbi Yechezkel Yudkowsky, second from left, received the Providence Hebrew Day School Amudim Award, along with his wife Shiffy, at a dinner on June 8. Yudkowsky is a teacher at the school, rabbi of Congregation Miskon T’filoh and author of the recently published young adult book, “When the Ice Melts.” Standing with him is (left) Rabbi Peretz Scheinerman, dean, Providence Hebrew Day School; Rabbi Yaacov Zimmerman, Judaic Studies teacher; Dr. Marc Diamond, president, PHDS/NEAT.

Russell Rosen was honored as Alumnus of the Year. His mother, Jani, was a teacher at PHDS for many years. Also recognized at the dinner were Menachem and Libby Leibowitz, whose four daughters attended NEAT over the past 16 years. They received the Parent of the Year award.
