Barry Schiff new president of GPHFL

Barry Jay Schiff has been elected president of The Greater Providence Hebrew Free Loan Association (GPHFL). Schiff was integral in revitalizing Providence Hebrew Free Loan and strengthening the organization. He was part of the team that helped merge Providence Hebrew Free Loan with South Providence Hebrew Free Loan creating GPHFL. Schiff will continue to work to expand awareness of its programs.
Schiff was elected unanimously to replace Stevan Labush. Labush will continue to provide guidance and wisdom as a member of the Board of Trustees. Schiff, a local business owner, is a board member of Touro Fraternal Association and past president of the Brotherhood of Temple Beth-El in Providence.
