Brown University engineering students visited the Jewish Community Day School of RI’s TikkunXDesign class to teach an interactive lesson about light and shadows.
JCDSRI students were enthusiastic participants as they traced objects' shadows, created their own colored transparencies and worked together to move an object into the correct position to match an outline of its shadow.
The Brown students will use the experience to inform their design of a prototype for an exhibit at the Providence Children's Museum.
