On Jan. 4, the 14th annual Fighting Poverty With Faith Vigil was held outside the Rhode Island State House in Providence. Sponsored by the Rhode Island Interfaith Coalition to Reduce Poverty, the event coincides with the first session of the 2022 RI General Assembly and features faith leaders from around Rhode Island reminding legislators to continue to fight issues surrounding poverty. The event begins with a march from Gloria Dei Church to the State House.
