Judith Chorney, 87

CRANSTON, R.I – Judith Chorney died Sept. 22 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Chorney. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Samuel and Etta (Cohen) Shlavin, she was a longtime resident of Cranston, previously living in Providence. She was a subscriber services supervisor for BlueCross BlueShield for 25 years and worked for Adam’s Drug Store for 22 years.

She was the longtime companion of Edmond Goldberg. She was the dear cousin of Bernard Make and his wife, Judith, of Rumford and Carolyn Maillis and her husband, Maxwell, of Asheville, North Carolina.
