PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Lev N. Smiler died Jan. 21, 2022, at the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Irina (Finkelstein) for 65 years. Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, a son of the late Nuchim and Lea Smiler, he had lived in Pawtucket for 30 years, previously living in Ukraine. Lev attended Adult Day Care, helped anyone in need, and he loved people, dancing and dressing up.
He was the devoted father of Marina Belogolovsky of Cranston. He was the dear brother of the late Dora Smiler, Sonya Lubinskaya, Masha Nedostup and Grisha Kazimirov. He was the loving grandfather of Leah and Greg.
