One March 12 and 24, a group organized by Israelis living in Rhode Island gathered in front of the Rhode Island State House in support of those protesting the proposed judicial reforms in Israel. All ages participated in the 30-minute gathering to show their solidarity with Israelis around the world. According to Sarit Lesser, one of the organizers, the gatherings will continue each Sunday to add Rhode Island’s voice to those calling to preserve democracy in Israel.
