Sukkah at the Schools
The David C. Isenberg Early Childhood Center at the Dwares Jewish Community Center in Providence had handcrafted sukkahs on display during Sukkot. Created by ECC classrooms, teachers, and parents and their children, these little sukkahs really brightened the lower lobby of the JCC. Made from mostly natural and recycled materials these miniatures celebrated Sukkot and the JCC’s smallest members.

More than 60 community members met in the Jewish Community Day School of RI Sukkah on a sunny fall day. Two 5th graders and Rabbis Michael Fel, and Preston Neimeiser inspired us with their words of Torah. We welcomed parents, grandparents, board members, clergy from all of the local temples, Jewish Alliance staff and leadership, and David Cicilline who enjoyed his time with the 5th graders.
