Summer in and around the community

Posted

It hasn’t been a typical summer thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. But the Rhode Island Jewish community still was able to worship, play and garden. Several day camps gave our children some fun in the sun, the daily minyan at Providence Hebrew Day School met with social distancing and the garden at Jewish Collaborative Services’ Phyllis Siperstein Tamarisk Assisted Living Residence gave residents fresh vegetables for the dining table. And we are all learning to be mindful of masks.
