Artist Talk: Zo Baker

Please join us for an artist lecture with Zo Baker, the Alliance's inaugural Artist in Residence. Zo Baker is an artist, curator, and educator exploring themes of memory, ritual, and Jewish culture through community-centered social practice. Their talk will focus on their current body of work centered around conceptions of legacy and intergenerational storytelling through archives and architecture.

About the Speaker: 

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Zo received their BFA in Sculpture from SUNY New Paltz in MFA from the University of Pennsylvania. Zo loves to create spaces that cultivate excitement for inquiry and a sense of play through making, talking, and always eating. Find their work at zoepeninabaker.net.
