What does it take to follow your dreams? A new musical play in development that imagines what might have transpired between two extraordinary young women artists on the MGM lot during the silent film era - Greta Garbo, the movie star, and Ruth Harriet Louise, the studio photographer. During research the RI-based playwright was able to connect with the Jewish Historical Society of Central New Jersey and the New York Historical Society to learn more about Ruth Harriet Louise (nee Goldstein), who was the daughter of the Rabbi in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This project is supported by a grant from RISCA.
