Harriet Traugott, 91

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Harriet Traugott died on March 25, 2024, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Traugott for 54 years. Born and raised in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Julius and Pauline (Kanpczuk) Gold. She was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family. She was a volunteer guide and greeter for the Miriam Hospital. She was a member of Hadassah and a longtime member of Temple Emanu-El.

She was the devoted mother of Charles Traugott and his wife, Sandy; and Robin Gersten and her husband, Gary. She was the loving grandmother of Jay Traugott; Kari Traugott, her partner, Eli Lakritz; Bethany Stangas, her husband, Nick; Kayla D’Agostino and her husband, Paul. She was the cherished great-grandmother of Harper, Hayley and Maren.
