Stuart Michael Dickens, 75

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. – Stuart Michael Dickens died  Feb. 14. He was the husband of Beverly (Smith) Dickens. Born in Providence, a son of the late Irving and Bernice (Bookbinder) Dickens, he had been a resident of Rhode Island for the past 51 years. He was a journeyman plumber in the construction industry and the founder of BESTCO Ent., a manufacturing company. He was in the Air Force in the early ’60s, serving in Germany. He was an honorary member of the Rhody Fly Rodders and an avid fly fisherman. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Alisa Boisclair and her husband Guy of Palm City, Fla., and Michelle Dickens of North Kingstown; his sisters, Roslyn Dickens of New York City and Phyllis Dickens of Seekonk; his granddaughter Ashley; and his great-grandson Justus. He was the father of the late David Scott Dickens.
