The July/August show in the Gallery at Temple Habonim features works by The Top Drawer at the Brass, a nonprofit visual art center providing programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Through their work, the artists show their creative expression, individuality and self-empowerment. Top Drawer is one of the many vocational day programs operated by L.I.F.E. (Living Fulfilling Environments).

The exhibit  includes a broad range of media and style, and emphasizes the voice and personal expression of each artist.  The use of color, composition and expression envelops the viewer as he or she enters.

The exhibit continues through Aug. 20.  There is a reception on Aug. 16  from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Gallery at Temple Habonim is at 165 New Meadow Road in Barrington. Hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and by appointment.
