Doug Emanuel blows the shofar July 11 to kick off the 36th annual Dwares JCC Golf Classic at Lake of Isles Golf Course in North Stonington, Connecticut. Twenty-five foursomes played the 18-hole course on a beautiful, sunny Monday and enjoyed lunch, a cocktail reception and a raffle. Look for more on the golf event in the Aug. 5 Jewish Rhode Island.
