PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Abner Hornstein died May 13. He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Granoff) Hornstein. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Samuel and Leah (Silverman) Hornstein.
He was the retired owner of Eddie’s Meat Market in Olneyville.
He is survived by his children Steven Hornstein of R.I. and Fay Pizer of Mass. and his siblings Seymour Hornstein of R.I. and Bernice Kaufman of Md. He was the brother of the late Edmond Hornstein and Evelyn Bruch.
