Annual Hadassah gift wrappers raiser funds for hospitals

For more than 50 years, members of Hadassah Rhode Island have been wrapping holiday gifts at Warwick Mall with the funds raised going to Hadassah medical research programs at its hospitals in Israel. The program, coordinated by Judy Silverman, attracts members year after year and the proceeds are impressive. Hadassah, founded in 1912 by Henrietta Szold, connects Jewish women and empowers them to effect change through advocacy, advancing health and well-being, and support of Israel.
