In the decades following the founding of Israel, close to a million Jews were forced from their ancestral homelands in the Middle East, North Africa, and Iran. The authors will tell the story of state-sanctioned discrimination, violence, and political unrest through gripping firsthand accounts from survivors.
Henry Green is Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Miami, Florida. Richard Stursberg is the President of PEN Canada and the Chairman of Sephardi Voices International.
