Eldon S. Goldenberg, 88

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Eldon S. Goldenberg died May 7. He was the husband of Elinor (Simons) Goldenberg. Born in Providence, the son of the late Alfred and Rose (Levine) Goldenberg, he had been a lifelong resident of Rhode Island.

He was the owner of the former Bazar Paint & Wallpaper, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Temple Emanu-El, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Jenks Lodge #24 F&AM.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Carol-Ann Rosen and her husband Jim of Newton, and Linda Sue Resnick and her husband Gerald of Lincoln; his grandchildren Alexander, Matthew and his wife Stephanie, and Amy; and his great-grandchild Ava. He was the brother of the late Evelyn Sperling and Helen White.
