Eleanor Wasser, 75

CRANSTON, R.I. – Eleanor Abrams Wasser died on April 19, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Marvin Wasser for 45 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Harold and Helen Abrams, she was a longtime resident of Cranston. Eleanor graduated from Cranston High School East, class of ’67, and attended Katharine Gibbs School, in Providence. She was a member and past president of Temple Sinai and its Sisterhood.  

She was the devoted mother of Jason Guy (Elizabeth Shen), of Audubon, Pennsylvania; Rachel Wasser (Benjamin Weiher), of Toronto, Canada; and Emily Abramson (Steve), of Westwood, Massachusetts. She was the dear sister of Jane Abrams (John Paul MacDuffie), of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Anne Schwartz (David), of Richmond, Virginia. She was the loving grandmother of EJ, Angelina, Milo, Hazel, Allison and Samuel.
