In episode seven, Cortney Nicolato, the president and CEO of United Way of Rhode Island, discusses everything from best practices in the nonprofit world to her journey into the tribe, and discovering what Judaism means to her. Nicolato is a Rhode Island native who grew up in Pawtucket, studied at the University of Rhode Island, and eventually returned to Rhode Island to serve and support the communities that formed her childhood. The ethos of inclusion and generosity that defined her childhood has carried her into the important work of United Way.
