Nicolato is a Rhode Island native who grew up in Pawtucket, studied at the University of Rhode Island, and eventually returned to Rhode Island to serve and support the communities that formed her childhood. The ethos of inclusion and generosity that defined her childhood has carried her into the important work of United Way.
