Helene Shatz, 78
WARWICK, R.I. – Helene E. Shatz died Nov. 29, 2022, at Westshore Heath Center. She was the beloved wife of Frank Shatz for 55 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Sacarovitz) Marks, she had lived in Warwick since 1967. She was an administrative assistant at J&W University, Providence, for 20 years. Helene was an avid reader.
She was the devoted mother of Randy Shatz, of Narragansett, and Michael Shatz, of Worcester, Massachusetts. She was the dear sister of Herbert Marks and his wife, Joan, of Cypress, California, and Sheila Kaufman and her husband, Arnold, of Narragansett.
