CRANSTON, R.I. – Jeanette Bernstein, of Steere House, Providence, formerly of Cranston, died March 27. She was the wife of the late Dr. Charles Bernstein. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Abraham and Hattie (Rosen) Edelston, she had lived in Cranston for 50 years before moving to Steere House. She was a sewing teacher and loved to sew. She was a member of Temple Beth-El. She attended RISD and had a passion for art.
Devoted mother of John Bernstein of LaGrange Park, Ill., and Hattie Bernstein of Mass.; sister of the late Harold and Marshall Edelston.
