Lydia Taub, 78
EAST GREENWICH, R.I. – Lydia Taub died Oct. 26 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Taub. Born in Romania, a daughter of the late Carol and Lili (Moscovitz) Luftschutz, she had lived in East Greenwich for 38 years, previously residing in Warwick.
She was a travel manager for Collette Travel Agency for 20 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Temple Sinai.
Devoted mother of Eva Taub Checoury and her husband Yves of Paris, France. Loving grandmother of Naomi and twins, Gabriel and Eli.
