May (Bornstein) Goldis, 98
NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. – May (Bornstein) Goldis died July 20. She was the wife of the late Irving Goldis. Born in Providence, the daughter of the late James and Celia (Naiburg) Bornstein, she was a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, living in Warwick for 25 years before moving to North Kingstown.
She is survived by her children, Harold Goldis of Wakefield, Nancy Iacono of Narragansett, and Karen Isskenderov of Florida; and her grandchildren Keenan, Glenna, Scott, Jonathan, Jayme, Alexander, Carly and Curt. She was the mother of the late Carl Goldis and sister of the late Jenny Bornstein, Freida Feldman, Tessie Cohen, Sophie Bornstein, Ruth Steiner, and Anna Weinbaum.
