The Miriam Hospital Women’s Association presents “Political Insights with Wendy Schiller: 2014 Election.” This evening of dynamic and timely discussion is Oct. 9 at 6:30 at the hospital, 164 Summit Ave., Providence.
Schiller is associate professor of political science and public policy at Brown University and has authored books and articles about American politics. Her most recent book, “Electing the Senate: Indirect Democracy before the Seventeenth Amendment,” will be published in Fall 2014. She has been a contributor of national and local news outlets.
