Students at Providence Hebrew Day School are busy getting ready for Pesach. In addition to learning about the Yom Tov, students had the opportunity to learn how to make matzah. With thanks to Rabbi Yossi and Mrs. Shoshana Laufer, of Chabad of the West Bay, students in Grades 1-5 experienced matzo baking. Students in Pre-K and K practiced this skill in their classroom and will have the “full” Matzah Bakery experience closer to Pesach when Rabbi Naftali Minkowitz, from Sharon, Massachusetts, brings his Matzah Bakery to the Providence school.
