Phyllis Williams, 93

WARWICK, R.I. — Phyllis Williams, 93, wife of the late James and daughter of the late Sonia and Abraham Labush, passed away peacefully at Kent Hospital. She is survived by her sister, Rhoda Broomfield of Warwick; Leonard Labush; his wife, Glenda, of Florida; and Lee Torti of California, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Born in Providence, she graduated from Hope High School in 1951 and worked for the City of Providence for 25 years. Jim and Phyllis moved to Connecticut, where the family gathered for many holidays in her lovely home. Phyllis was a generous and caring person, contributing to many charities in her lifetime. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. She spent her last days at Tamarisk Senior Living and St. Elizabeth, where she got the best of care.
