Three local houses of worship open their doors to all

The members of the Barrington Interfaith Clergy Association strive to bring people of diverse faith traditions together to nurture their shared spiritual bond. Everyone benefits when people of different faith traditions (or no faith tradition) are able to share their beliefs and learn with and from one another.

This year, three houses of worship in Barrington will host open houses, welcoming everyone to get a close view of how they worship. Next year, three different houses of worship will do the same.

These services are sponsored by the Barrington Interfaith Clergy Association. Everyone is invited, regardless of affiliation or non-affiliation. The first service took place at Temple Habonim on Nov. 21. The second service will be held on  Jan. 6, at 7 p.m. at Saints Matthew & Mark Episcopal Church, 5 Chapel Road, Barrington. The third service is scheduled for March 25, 7 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway, Barrington.
