Ruth Snyder-Cavaliere, 88

CRANSTON – Ruth Snyder-Cavaliere, of Cra-Mar Meadows Nursing Home, died December 27 at the home. She was the wife of the late Rudy Snyder and the late John Cavaliere. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Isidore and Ida (Factor) Shapiro, she had lived in Cranston since 1958, previously living in Providence. She worked at her parents’ shop, the former Loui’s Mensware, in Pawtucket, prior to retirement.

She was the mother of Mitchell Snyder and his wife, Roseann, and Linda Fine and her husband, Jeff, all of Cranston, and sister of the late Frieda Malin. She was the grandmother of Bobby Lauro, Heather Snyder-Dawkins, Amie Hodge and Dan Fine and the great grandmother of Ardin, Miranda, Brady and Haylee.
