Spreading joy!

In Hebrew language class, under the direction of teacher Janice Rosenfield, the middle-school students at Providence Hebrew Day School created beautiful bi-lingual birthday cards for Sam Weinreich of Memphis, Tennessee.

Weinreich, who is a Holocaust survivor, turned 100 this month. To commemorate this milestone, he requested that 100 birthday cards be sent to him.

The students created nearly 50 cards, replete with colorful artwork, warm messages, and brachot [blessings] for Weinreich to enjoy many more years of good health and nachas [joy] from his family.
