Stephen Sofro, 79
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Stephen Barney Sofro, of Providence, passed away on Feb. 4. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis J. Sofro and Madeline (Bromberg) Sofro. He attended Clark University and Long Island University.
Stephen worked for his family’s business and as a property manager for many years until his retirement. Stephen loved spending time with his family, collecting and creating art, which was one of his passions.
He was the devoted father of Jon Sofro and his wife, Lisa, and Jill London and her husband, Andrew; brother of Susan Slepkow and her husband, Martin; and his grandchildren, Emily, Jake, Samantha, Carly and Joshua.
