Sydney Resnick 94

WARWICK, R.I. – Sydney I. Resnick died Sept. 21 at Kent Regency. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances “Pepper” Cohen. Born in Providence, son of the late Max and Sarah Resnick, he had lived in Warwick for three years, and was previously a longtime resident of Cranston.

He was an attorney at his own practice for over 50 years. Sydney was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a graduate of Hope High School, Brown University and Boston University School of Law.   

He was the devoted father of David Resnick and his wife, Susan, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and John Resnick of Wickford. He was the brother of the late Beatrice Shechtman. He was the loving grandfather of Caroline and Max Resnick.
