Sylvia Bloomberg, 96

WEST WARWICK, R.I. – Sylvia R. Bloomberg passed away on July 20 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Sheldon Bloomberg. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Jacob and Rebecca (Miller) Rosen, she had lived in Cranston, previously living in West Warwick and Pawtucket.  She was a graduate of Bryant Business College. Sylvia was a member of Temple Beth-El and a life member of Hadassah.

She was the devoted mother of Lawrence Bloomberg of Cranston; Anne Young and her husband, Stewart, of Story, Wyoming; and the late Roger Bloomberg. She was the dear sister of the late Milton and J. Leo Rosen. She was the loving grandmother of Asher and Abraham. She was the cherished great-grandmother of Jackson, Bella, Madelyn, Garrison, Alivia and Paisley. She was the adored aunt to three nieces and one nephew.
