Valeriy Rakhlin, 82
BARRINGTON, R.I. – Valeriy Rakhlin died at his home on Oct. 28, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Galina (Bykova) Rakhlin for 58 years. Born in Luhansk, Ukraine, a son of the late Abram and Sophia (Godik) Rakhlin, he had lived in Barrington since 1997, previously living in Providence. He was a veterinarian for many years.
He was the devoted father of Mark and his wife, Tatyana Rakhlin, of Barrington, and Natalia Rakhlin-Powsner, of Grosse-Pointe, Michigan. He was the dear brother of Galina Kartevel, of Brooklyn, New York, and the late Yugenia Rakhlin. He was the loving grandfather of Ilya and Daniela. He was the cherished great-grandfather of Philip.
