SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Vladimir Y. Vilner died Nov. 3. He was the husband of the late Eleonora Krasnova. Born in Minsk, Belarus, a son of the late Yacov Moses and Faina (Ginzburg) Vilner, he had lived in Riga, Latvia, before immigrating to the U.S. in 1992. He was a stationary engineer for R.I. Hospital, retiring 10 years ago. The father of Sergey Krasnov of Cranston and Oleg Vilner and his wife Elina of Old Bridge, N.J. Brother of the late Bertold Vilner. Grandfather of Matthew, Nicholas and Valeriya. Contributions in his memory may be made to your favorite charity.
