On Sunday, Sept. 26, candidates for Dist. 3 Rhode Island State Senate spoke to voters at a meet-and-greet session sponsored by the Community Relations Council of the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island. The audience got a chance to hear statements by Democratic and Republican candidates and ask questions at the event which was held outside of the Alliance's Dwares Jewish Community Center in Providence. The Democratic primary election is Oct. 5. The election will fill the seat vacated by Gayle Golden who resigned to take a position in President Joe Biden's administration.
