PROVIDENCE, R.I. – William Bliss, of Providence, died on March 4, 2025, after a prolonged illness. Bill was a talented photographer and writer, well-known for his engaging wit and insights on a vast array of subjects. He was a familiar sight on his daily power walks on Blackstone Boulevard, and he was an avid swimmer and beachcomber. Bill always had a kind word and a ready smile for those who knew him.
Bill is survived by his longtime companion Liz (Archambault) Russell; brothers, Steven and John; nieces, Julia and Haley; and nephew, Robbie.
