CRANSTON, R.I. – William H. Torman died Nov. 9 at Golden Crest Nursing Center, N. Providence. He was the beloved husband of Emily A. (Reed) Torman for 57 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Jacob and Dora (Paster) Torman, he had lived in Cranston for 26 years.
He was a troubleshooter for the former Atlantic Mills Shoes in Providence for 26 years. He was a member of the Providence Hebrew Free Loan Association. Devoted father of Robin Gerdin and her husband Brian of Cranston. Dear brother of the late Israel “Al” Torman and Evelyn Danis. Loving grandfather of Cody.
